Croton River Kayak Rental

What better way to spend a warm summer day than on the beautiful Croton River? We offer rentals of recreational and light touring kayaks, canoes, and Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPs), all embarking from the Echo Canoe and Kayak Launch located at the southern end of the Croton-Harmon station area.

Croton River Rentals can be 1.5 hours or 2.5 hours in duration. Both single and tandem kayaks are available. Whether you’re a first-timer or a pro, our kayak and SUP rentals are the perfect way to get out and explore Croton River watershed.

The Croton River is one of the best paddling destinations in the area, and launch does get quite busy on peak weekends and holidays. Please plan to arrive 20 to 30 minutes ahead of schedule — reservations are highly recommended and completing your waivers in advance will speed up the check-in process once you arrive.

Parking is available in Section G of the Croton-Harmon lot at a rate of $1 per hour. Please make sure to visit the pay stations located at the north end of the parking lot.
